Administrator Guide > Recovery Process Overview > Batch Transaction Import > Batch Transaction Import Review |
The Batch Transaction Import Review screen enables the ability to view all transactions that have been imported into the Recovery Module during the batch transaction import process that have not been processed due to issues such as missing or incorrect account numbers, payments exceeding the amount of the account, and missing transaction codes. From this screen, users are able to easily review each transaction, resolve any issues, and process or exclude transactions from a batch import profile.
For example, if a transaction is imported in batch and found to have a missing account number during Pre-Processing, the transaction is transferred to staging for review. The transaction is then displayed on this screen, where it can be manually reviewed and the issue resolved before the transaction is committed to a Recovery account.
To access this screen, navigate to System Management > Recovery > Batch Transaction Import Review.
![]() |
In order to access this screen and process transactions, the Batch Transaction Import Review permission must be set to Change for the User and/or Security Group. This permission appears in the System Management - Recovery category of the Permissions tab in System Management > Users and System Management > Groups > Security Groups. |
This screen contains the following functionality to review and manage batch transaction import profiles:

To filter the transactions according to Status, select the View drop-down. Transactions can be sorted by All, Unprocessed, Processed, Excluded, or Exception. Once an option is selected, the view automatically refreshes.

The date range can be adjusted by using one of the following methods:
After the desired filter has been applied, click to update the grid.
In addition to filtering tools, the toolbar at the top of the page includes the following buttons to process and manage the transactions that require review:

The following actions can be performed to process and manage transactions within the Batch Transaction Import Review page:
![]() |
At the start of processing, the transaction processing engine places a lock on the transaction currently in process. This lock ensures that only one recovery batch import is processed at a time, mitigating the possibility of corrupt transaction data. If a transaction is currently in process and a user attempts to process another transaction, a "transaction in process" message is displayed indicating that the second transaction cannot be processed until the current transaction has completed processing.
|
The Edit Transaction Import window enables administrators to modify an existing transaction. To edit a transaction, double-click or highlight the transaction and click .
![]() |
If a transaction is in an active batch record, a message displays indicating that the transaction cannot be edited. |
The Exclude function enables administrators to remove the transaction from the batch import profile. The button is only displayed for Unprocessed transactions and transactions with Exceptions, and is disabled for Processed transactions.
![]() |
Transactions are only excluded, never deleted. |
The Include function allows administrators to add an excluded transaction into the batch import profile. The button is only displayed for Excluded transactions.
To process a transaction:
Once changes have been made, click to retain the new transaction profile and return to the Batch Transaction Import Review screen. When clicking
, pre-processing is also run on the record to verify that no other errors exist.
The Batch Transaction Import Review screen enables administrators to process transactions that have not already been processed, are not excluded, and do not have exceptions.
![]() |
Transactions might be processed in batch based on the amount of transactions that are required to be processed. |
![]() |
If an exception is returned during processing, the exception for the transaction is updated and displayed within the Transaction Import Exceptions grid so that it can be resolved. If the transaction has already been processed, the processing engine ignores the record. |
Please see the Batch Transaction Import Process section for more information.
The Exclude function enables administrators to exclude a checked transaction. To exclude a transaction:
![]() |
Once a transaction is excluded, changes cannot be made to the record until the record is included again. |
