The Administrative Settings screen allows for customization of general Framework features such as password settings, account settings and institution settings. Administrative Settings contains six tabs: General, Look and Feel, Reporting Services, Security, API and Other.
General Tab
Under the General section fill in the available information including the Institution Name, Phone Number, Account Number, Password and Address Information.

Framework Collections Email |
Collections SMTP Server - Specify the name of the email server used to route emails from the application. Collections Email Address - Specify the email address that serves as the ‘From’ address for all emails sent from the collections solution. Emails can be generated in the collections solution via Workflows, Screens, Email History or Reports.

Framework Lending Email |
Lending SMTP Server - Specify the name of the email server used to route emails from the application. Lending Email Address - Specify the email address that serves as the ‘From’ address for all emails sent from the lending solution. Emails can be generated in the lending solution via Ad-Hoc, Rules, Reports, Queues and Document Generation.

Set the correct time zone and first day of the week. |
Look and Feel Tab
Customize the look and feel of Akcelerant Framework Application by choosing workspace options and different colors for Workflow History. Users have the option of choosing their Workspace Option:
Workflow History Colors allow for comments and transactions performed by various users to be seen in different colors and display in the workflow history. Doing so can help to accentuate specific transactions or note types for a glance evaluation. Color defaults are black text and white background. Color can be set for the background only, the text color or both for one or more Note types:
Note Type | Notes made on an account while working in a workflow can come from different users or be system generated. |
Background Color | The cell background color. |
Text Color | The text color of the note. |
Reporting Services Tab
Customize Microsoft reporting services database settings within this tab. The fields within this tab are displayed below:

Use secure connection (https): |
Click on the User secure connection (https) checkbox if a secure connection is used for reporting. |
Report Server Execution Path |
Specify the name of the report server used to route reports from the application in the Report Server Execution Path field. |
Reporting Services Server |
Specify the name of the report server used for reporting services in the Reporting Services Server field. |
Report Folder |
Specify the path to the folder where various reports created by or uploaded to the application are stored. |
Report DSN |
Enter the Report DSN. |
Use Akcelerant Report Viewer |
Select Akcelerant Report Viewer to view reports. This view eliminates the need for users to be given direct access to the reporting services server, eliminating the risk of users obtaining confidential information from reports they wouldn't normally have access to. |
Security Tab
The security section sets parameters for the user’s passwords in the system.

Specify how many characters a user must have in order to save a password successfully. |
Must contain lowercase |
Indicate whether it is mandatory to have a lowercase in the password. |
Must contain uppercase |
Indicate whether it is mandatory to have an uppercase in the password. |
Must contain number |
Indicate whether it is mandatory to have a number in the password. |
Must contain special character |
Indicate whether it is mandatory to have a special character in the password. |
Minimum Password Occurrences |
Specify the number of old passwords to be retained for each user to avoid duplication and reuse of passwords too soon. |
Maximum Password Duration (days) |
Specify the number of days before a user is required to change their password. |
Maximum Failed Login Attempts |
Specify the number of failed login attempts before the user is locked out of the system. |
Account Restriction |
Allows employee accounts to be restricted from view. |
API
This web service allows customers to integrate their own internal applications to perform general tasks in the Akcelerant Framework.
Other
Determine whether to "hide return setting options on the Next Contact Date Step." When this option is turned off, the options under the Contact Details tab when configuring the Next Contact Date workflow have the following options:
