Decision Models
Navigation to Decision Models: System Management>Lending>Decision Models
The Decision Model page allows the administrator to assign business rules created in the Decisioning category under the Rules Management.
Within each decision model, the administrator creates one or more groups of rules called stages. Any number of decisioning rules can be assigned to each stage. The stages can be ordered or re-ordered to determine the appropriate execution. All rules assigned to the same stage will be executed together. If a Stop Processing action is returned when the stage is executed, then the next and all subsequent stages will not be executed.
One decision model is assigned to each Sub-Product; however, the same decision model can be assigned to more than one Sub-Product.
Click Create to create a new Decision Model.
-
Enter in the Name of the Decision Model and a description. The Decision Model defaults to an Active state. Uncheck this to make the Decision Model inactive.
Decision Models can contain various stages (such as Auto Approval and Generate Cross-Sells) that are tied to business rules. All stages are executed simultaneously. If a Stop Processing action is returned by an rule called by a stage, processing is stopped and subsequent stages/rules are not executed.
