Business Rules are a powerful mechanism for performing sophisticated data analysis, decisioning and data updates. Account Servicing Business Rules can be integrated in many areas of the Framework to perform activities such as advanced person and/or account queuing, automated decisioning in workflows, setting field values and aggregating person and account data to display in the workspace. While the incorporation of Rules is not required to work in the Framework, they are available to make the Framework experience more efficient and productive.
The use of Business Rules in the Framework does require experience, therefore, Akcelerant Account Managers are available to facilitate an understanding for how to use rules as well as provide business rule packages and training options. For more information regarding the use of Account Servicing Business Rules in your institution, please contact your Akcelerant Customer Care Representative.
Business Rules are created and managed in the Rules Management Application, which can be accessed from the Rules Management home screen in System Management > Collections > Rules Management.
The Rules Management home screen allows users to launch the Rules Management application by clicking the Launch Rules Management button.

If rule authoring is not enabled, the Rules Management Application cannot be opened and an error message is received upon selecting Launch Rules Management. To discuss options for enabling Framework Account Servicing Rule Authoring, please contact your Akcelerant Customer Care Representative. |
