The version number for a Release, Critical Update, or Update is displayed as the following:

Version - 14.00.00 Friendly - 14.00 |
Update Number | Incremental |

Every version of the Framework (Release, Update, and Critical Update) uses the format XX.XX.XX. Above two types of the version number conventions are used. It is required that for documentation, announcement, marketing material, ect..., that the version number convention is used. The friendly number convention can be used during non-formal conversations. |
