Overview
The Akcelerant Framework contains powerful functionality that drives several business-specific solutions including loan origination, collection, recovery, and sales/service. In order to continually support our customers and improve our product, a series of product releases are distributed each year that contain a number of new features, enhancements and fixed defects. This document provides detailed information regarding these product changes, how to install them, and how to use them.
Release Notes Document Structure
The Release Notes document is broken into the following sections:
- Important Upgrade Information - This section highlights all changes that have occurred and may affect existing rule applications and API logic found within this release.
- Framework Core - This section highlights all features, enhancements and fixed defects found within this release that are applicable to all solutions of the Framework.
- Collection - This section highlights all features, enhancements and fixed defects found within this release that are applicable to the Collection solution.
Each product section of this document provides information on all new features, enhancements, and fixed defects. Definitions of these items are as follows:
- New Features - A new feature is a new piece of functionality added to the product. This section will provide you with details about the new features including basic screen shots and how to use the feature.
- Enhancements - An enhancement adds efficiency, functionality, or productivity to an existing feature. An enhancement can also include a change to the way data is processed or may impact or change the way a user works in the Framework. This section provides details about the enhancement and includes screenshots, where applicable, or lists of new fields that have been added.
- Defect Corrections- A fixed defect implies that a correction has been made to a known issue in the product. This section contains a list of the defects along with the Defect ID that can be used to track defects to closure.
