The Issue:
Receiving an "Automation server can't create object" error message when trying to launch the Letter Template Editor.
Solution:
- Verify that the Framework URL is added to Trusted Sites by navigating to Internet Options>Security>Trusted Sites>Sites.
- Add the Framework URL to the trusted sites list.
- Configure Trusted Sites by navigating to Internet Options>Security>Trusted Sites>Custom level.
- Enable the following options:
Miscellaneous
- Allow scripting of MS Web browser control.
- Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints.
- Allow webpages to use restricted protocols for active content.
- PROMPT - Launching applications and unsafe files.
- Launching programs and files in an IFRAME.
- DISABLE – Use Pop-up Blocker.
Scripting
- Active Scripting.
- Scripting of Java Applets - Enable.
