Temenos does permit the use of other applications on the same database/web server as long as the resource requirements of these other applications do not negatively impact the Lifecycle Management Suite in any way. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all other applications sharing the database/web servers support the minimum server software requirements for the Lifecycle Management Suite (including but not limited to IIS version, .NET Framework version, Component Services version, etc.). Customer also agrees to make no deviations from the Standard Lifecycle Management Suite installation steps for the purposes of supporting other applications or support issues resulting from these changes may be billable. Customers with 10 or few users can utilize a single server setup and follow the guidelines for the Database Server hardware specifications. Certain Release/Edition/Platforms of Windows support a maximum of 4GB RAM. In order to implement more than 4 GB RAM, customer must use a compatible Windows Release/Edition/Platform. The IMM connector is not compatible with Bluepoint software for signature pads.

Customers should ensure that their firewall allows outbound HTTPS traffic (port 443) to the URL https://services.m.com. This URL is a web service hosted by Temenos and facilitates several services used by our application (Routing number validation, Installshield updates and Usage Monitor).

Releases denoted with an asterisk (*) are planned and the software compatibility may change.

ApplicationXtender

ApplicationXtender provides a centralized repository which provides increased security and organization of critical business documents. ApplicationXtender allows for filing, storing and quick access to any type of document and provides a built in viewer for over 250 file types.

Internet Explorer (IE)

Internet Explorer is a type of web browser developed by Microsoft. Internet Explorer is included as part of the Microsoft Windows operating systems.

The Lifecycle Management Suite does not support the Windows 8 App version of Internet Explorer. If using Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, include the Lifecycle Management Suite's domain in the Compatibility View Settings.

Microsoft Office

Is an office suite of applications, servers, and services developed by Microsoft. Microsoft office general includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, and Outlook.

The Lifecycle Management Suite does not support the web application versions of Microsoft Office.

As of release 16.00, the Lifecycle Management Suite has been certified against Microsoft Office 2016. The Lifecycle Management Suite currently supports Office 365, as Office 2016 is the current version delivered through the Office 365 subscription. Temenos monitors Microsoft Office release announcements to plan support for any updated versions. Institutions using Office 365 should be aware that the subscription service may update in the future, and provide a version of Office that is not not supported by the Lifecycle Management Suite release implemented at their institution. Additionally, while the Office Online browser-only version is currently not supported in the Lifecycle Management Suite, Temenos is monitoring for the potential use of this version for businesses, and will plan future support accordingly.

Microsoft SQL Server (32 and 64 bit)

Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system developed by Microsoft. As a database server, it is a software product with the primary function of storing and retrieving data as requested by other software applications which may run either on the same computer or on another computer across a network.

SQL Server 2008 SP1 or higher is required in order to use Microsoft Report Builder 2.0 integration.

SQL Server 2008 R2 is required in order to use Microsoft Report Builder 3.0 integration.

The Lifecycle Management Suite does support the separation of the web server from the application server if desired. The application server requirements are the same for IIS, Virtual Directories, Reporting Services, and ASP.NET MVC 3.0; these are not required on this type of server.

IIS 6.0 Management Compatibility required for Windows Server 2008.

Depending upon server hardware configuration, the application server may be the same server as the web server. In this case, all required software for both the Web and Application servers should be installed on this server.

Microsoft SQL Server Command Line Utilities must be installed for the installed version of SQL Server. Please use the following table to assist in installing the proper components.

Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Is a server-based report generating software system from Microsoft. SSRS enables users to quickly and easily generate reports from Microsoft SQL Server databases. The SSRS service provides a unique interface into Microsoft Visual Studio so that developers as well as SQL administrators can connect to SQL databases and SSRS tools to format SQL reports. SSRS also provides a "Report Builder" tool for less technical IT workers to format SQL reports.

Microsoft Windows Client (32 or 64 bit)

Microsoft Windows Client is built to detects, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software problems pertaining to Client 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems. Information and analysis on the issues that the system detected are collected by the MPs through an agent on the client machine, and sent to OpsMgr where this data is converted into health state, alerts (if need be) and processed for business critical and aggregate reports. The MP gives a clear picture of catastrophic failures in your mission critical machines, trend-based alerts of significant changes to computer groups, in-depth views of health of individual machines, and reports that provide a landscape view of the health of all monitored clients.

Windows Server is a group of operating systems designed by Microsoft that supports enterprise-level management, data storage, applications, and communications.

Microsoft .NET Framework

The .NET Framework is a technology that supports building and running the next generation of applications and XML Web services.

IMM TotaleAtlas

IMM TotaleAtlas is a browser-based document processing application where XML data from the host system is merged with a document image, presented to the end user, processed and indexed into an archive system.

TotaleAtlas is not backwards compatible with prior versions of the Lifecycle Management Suite.

Adobe Acrobat Reader

Adobe Reader lets you read and print from any system any document created as an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file, with its original appearance preserved. PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated, and printed exactly as the author intended by anyone with Adobe Reader.
