Temenos Lifecycle Management Suite - Recovery Product Guide
Welcome to Rules Management

Business Rules are a powerful mechanism for performing sophisticated data analysis, decisioning, and data updates. Account Servicing Business Rules can be integrated in many areas of the Lifecycle Management Suite to perform activities such as advanced person and/or account queuing, automated decisioning in workflows, setting field values, and aggregating person and account data to display in the workspace. While the incorporation of Rules is not required to work in the Lifecycle Management Suite, they are available to make the Lifecycle Management Suite experience more efficient and productive.

The use of Business Rules in the Lifecycle Management Suite does require experience; therefore, Temenos Account Managers are available to facilitate an understanding for how to use rules as well as provide business rule packages and training options. Rules Management Home Screen

Business Rules are created and managed in the Rules Management Application, which can be accessed from the Rules Management home screen in System Management > > Rules Management.

From the Rules Management Home Screen, users are able to launch the Rules Management and view the RuleApp Difference Report. 

To launch rules management, click . Rules Management opens in a new window. For more information on creating rules, see the Getting Started with Rules Management topic within this guide.

In addition to launching rules management, users are able to see an overview of the edits made to rules management. For more information on viewing rule modifications, see the Rule Application Difference Report topic.

If rule authoring is not enabled, the Rules Management Application cannot be opened and an error message is received upon selecting Edit Rules. To discuss options for enabling Account Servicing Rule Authoring, please contact your Temenos Customer Care Representative.
