Notification Groups

Notification Groups allows administrators to group users into functional groups that are able to receive notifications about applications based on specific events. When a comment is received on an application, users within notification groups can navigate to the Notifications page to read and dismiss notifications. Email alerts may also be transmitted to group members when a new notification is received.

Email notifications may also be sent to the vendor representative.

In addition to comments, the Notifications functionality can also be used to inform notification groups about documents that are attached to an application. For example, when a document is electronically received from a third party connector and attached to a Temenos application, an event/action pair can be configured to execute and automatically notify the applicable notification groups about the attachment. Notification Groups can be created and managed from System Management > Groups > Notification Groups.

The Notification Groups page displays the following columns of information about each Notification Group:

Column Name	Description
Name	The name of the Notification Group.
Description	The description of the Notification Group.
Last Modified	Denotes when the last modification to the Notification Group was made.
Modified By	Denotes who made the last modification to the Notification Group.

Notification Group Attributes

All Notification Groups have common attributes that are defined while creating, copying, or editing a Notification Group.

General

The General attributes include basic information about the Notification Group.

The following General notification group attributes are defined in the General tab:

Attribute	Description
Name	Provide a name for the Notification Group. This is a required field.
Description	Provide details about the Notification Group.

Users

Within the Users tab, assign active Temenos users to be a part of the Notification Group.

Notification Groups can also be assigned to a specific user within the Notification Groups tab in System Management > Users.

The following attributes are defined within the Users tab:

Attribute	Description
Available	Displays a list of all active users configured in System Management > Users. Assign users to the group by selecting the desired user(s) from the list and moving the name(s) to the Assigned Users boxes using the arrows that display.
Assigned	Displays a list of the Users assigned to the notification group. Once the group is saved, users assigned to the group may begin receiving notifications

Creating a Notification Group

To create a new notification group, click .
The New Notification Group screen appears.
Navigate through the General and Users tabs and assign the necessary attributes to the Notification Group.
Once the attributes have been defined, click or to retain the notification group and return to the Notification Groups page. The new notification group populates in the Notification Groups page. Click to return without saving.

Copying a Notification Group

Select a notification group to highlight it.
Click . The Copy Notification Group screen appears.
Navigate through the tabs and make any required/necessary changes to the notification group.
When finished modifying the desired information, click or to save the new notification group and return to the Notification Groups page. The new notification group populates in the Notification Groups page. Click to return without saving.

Editing a Notification Group

Select a notification group to highlight it.
Click . The Edit Notification Group screen appears.
Navigate through the tabs and make any necessary changes to the notification group.
After making the necessary modifications, click or to save the notification group and return to the Notification Groups page. Click to return without saving.

Deleting a Notification Group

Select a notification group to highlight it.
Click .
A confirmation message appears. Click Yes to delete the notification group. Click No to return to the Notification Groups page without deleting.
