The Search function allows users to search Temenos Infinity for existing applicants and applications.

The ability to use the Search feature is determined by a user and/or security group permission set by the system administrator. If the permission is set to None for the individual user or security group,

Depending on the active Temenos Infinity modules for the institution, the following search options may be available:

The Application search types are for the Loan Origination module and the General search types are for the Collection and Service modules. By default, all search options are enabled within Temenos Infinity; however, options can be disabled if the corresponding module is not active for the financial institution. Please contact Customer Care for assistance in disabling search options. |
To access the Search functionality, click located in the Ribbon bar.
Each Search Type contains a toolbar that displays the following icons:

Search | Allows a user to perform a Search based upon the search criteria entered. |

Clear | Allows a user to Clear the search criteria entered in the query fields. |
The Quick Search allows users to search Temenos Infinity for existing applications by Application Number.

The Quick Search does not return multiple results. |
Application Numbers are unique, therefore, only the application that matches the provided Application Number returns. If an application matching the provided Application Number is located, it opens within the Workspace.
To perform a Quick Search:

This field only accepts an integer value. |
The Basic Search allows users to search Temenos Infinity for existing applications based upon a variety of applicant-specific search criteria such as Account Number, TIN, Name, Address, etc.
The Basic Search allows users to search Temenos Infinity for applications based on the following criteria:
Basic Search Field | Description | ||
Account | Enter the account number to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
TIN | Enter the applicant TIN to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
Full Name | Enter the first and last name of the applicant to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
First Name | Enter the first name of the applicant to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
Last Name | Enter the last name of the applicant to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
Address 1 | Enter the street address to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
Address 2 | Enter the street address 2 to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
City | Enter the city to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
State | Use the drop-down to select the state to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
Zip Code | Enter the zip code to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
External App # |
Enter the external application number associated with the third party application in Temenos Infinity.

Home Phone | Enter the home phone number to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
Work Phone | Enter the work phone number to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
Status | Use the drop-down to select the application status to which all resulting applications should be associated. | ||
Source | Use the drop-down to select the application source to which all resulting applications originated from. | ||
Date |
Use the drop-down to select if the resulting applications were created, modified, decisioned, closed, or disbursed on a certain date/range. |

Date Range |
Use the drop-down to select the date range for which all resulting applications were created, modified, decisioned, closed, or disbursed.

From |
Indicate the date for which all resulting applications were not created, modified, decisioned, closed, or disbursed before.

To |
Indicate the date for which all resulting applications were not created, modified, decisioned, closed, or disbursed after.

Channel | Use the drop-down to select the application channel from which all resulting applications originated. | ||
Parent App # | Enter the number of the parent application, which created all resulting applications. |
When an application search returns multiple results, the results populate within the Search Results grid.
The Search Results grid displays the following information for each application:

Application | The Application Number associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
Primary Borrower | The Primary Applicant associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
Created Date | The Creation Date associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
Sub-Product | The Loan Sub-Product associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
Product | The Loan Product associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
Requested Amount | The Requested Amount associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
Status | The Application Status associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
Decision | The Application Decision associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
Queue | The Queue in which the applications matching the Search Criteria are assigned. |
Source | The Source associated with the applications matching the Search Criteria. |
To perform a Basic Search:

When using Basic Search, if a user exits the Basic Search, then clicks to open the Search again, the last search criteria is displayed. |

When people are returned in the search results, the System Administrator determines whether the Full or Partial TIN is displayed in the results. This security permission, View Full TIN in Search Results, is set up in System Management > Users > System Management > Permissions and System Management > Groups > Security Groups > System Management > Permissions. |
The Advanced Search provides the ability to use the Criteria Builder to search for any application field available in Temenos Infinity. Users are able to select Operators such as “Is Like” and "<=" (Less Than or Equal To) to generate desired Search Results.
To perform an Advanced Search:
Operator Function | Description | ||
Equal To | Only the value entered is displayed. | ||
Not Equal To | All other values display except for the one entered. | ||
Less Than or Equal To | Usually used in conjunction with a numerical value, it is considered anything less than the select value, up to and including that value. | ||
Greater Than or Equal To | Usually used in conjunction with a numerical value, any value beginning with the selected value and values greater. | ||
Like |
If a specific value is not known, enter a value which is 'like' the value. The “%” (percent symbol) is a wildcard and allows for a partial field search.

Not Like | Choose a value that is 'not like' the desired value. | ||
Range | Set a scope or limits for the criteria. Use a range when looking for a specific group or time frame. |
