The following configuration option has been added to System Management to enable administrators to enhance the virtual application experience for their institution:
A new action, Search Core for Applicant, has been added to Event Processing to provide administrators with the ability to prompt an automatic search in the core for existing applicant records, if the applicant has indicated they are not an existing account holder within the Continue as Guest panel in Virtual Capture. This functionality prevents an additional account record from being created if the applicant is currently an account holder at the institution and has forgotten their account number during the virtual application process. The Search Core for Applicant action searches the core for account records based on the TIN provided by the applicant while accessing Virtual Capture as a guest; if records are found, the applicant's account number, source account number, and person number are defined, and the Is Customer flag is set within the Lifecycle Management Suite.
