Welcome To Release 15.01 > New and Enhanced for Release 15.01 > Virtual Capture > Framework Functionality > Configuring Virtual Capture |
All of the essentials to build and customize the virtual application process, including loan products and applications, are right at your fingertips!
The Framework now provides administrators with powerful functionality to customize the virtual application experience for their institution with the introduction of the following:
DMZ application services in Server Manager enables connectors to be implemented post installation of the Akcelerant Framework. In 15.01, Virtual Capture has been added as an available application in DMZ Services to provide the ability to install Virtual Capture at a financial institution.
For more information on DMZ application services, please see the Server Manager Technical Guide.
The Virtual Capture Settings page enables administrators to customize the Virtual Capture application process to fit their institution's web site style standards. Virtual Capture Settings also provides administrators with the following functionality:
The Virtual Capture Workflow Models page enables administrators to organize the virtual application process for applicants using Virtual Capture. Creating Workflow Models for Virtual Capture ensures applicants can provide information within a logical sequence of screens to complete the virtual application process intuitively and with ease!
The Framework can be configured to capture IP addreses that are used to access and create applications within Virtual Capture and mark them as blacklisted. Blacklisting IP addresses helps eliminate fraud and provides financial institutions and applicants using Virtual Capture with piece-of-mind knowing that their applications and personal information is not likely to be compromised, as blacklisted IP addresses cannot access Virtual Capture.
When an application is saved in Virtual Capture and IP address capture is enabled within Virtual Capture Settings, the applicant's IP address is saved within the new IPAddress field added to the Field List for Reports and Screens.
A new Blacklist tab has also been added to the Solution.Origination page to enable system administrators to define the parameters that are used to prohibit certain IP addresses from accessing Virtual Capture. If the IP address meets the blacklist criteria defined within the new parameters, the address is flagged as blacklisted and appears within the list of blacklisted IP addresses that are displayed in the new Blacklist IP Addresses page added to System Management.
Additionally, the IPAddressRegionTypeId and the IsIPAddressBlacklisted fields have been added to the Framework for use in reports and screens, a new IP_REGION_TYPE system lookup has been added to Field Configurations and permissions to the Blacklist IP Addresses page has been added to Users and Security Groups. The Auto Blacklist IP Address and Evaluate Region of an IP Address system actions have been added to Event Processing to automatically flag IP addresses as blacklisted and to determine whether an IP address is foreign or domestic.
