Task Types provide a powerful, seamless experience while tracking specialty processes or fulfilling service requests. The versatility of task types allows you to customize institutional processes and optimize your productivity.
The new task types provides the ability to efficiently:
- View and capture data using existing screens or customizing a screen for a specific task allowing you to display only desirable information to complete the task at hand.
- Automate data analysis through the use of business rules.
- Execute custom code to automate processes and interact with institutional systems outside of the Framework.
- Run workflows at precise moments within a case or service ticket.
- Provide general instructions to users to complete a task.

In order to provide quick and exceptional service, the end user experience for working tasks has never been easier. Service introduces new functionality such as:
- The ability to work tasks interactively in the Framework by capturing data and completing workflows within a Work Task tab.
- Simplistic navigation between tickets and tasks as well as back and forth between tasks using the Task toolbar.
- Tabbed navigation that provides specific task related information within the task itself.
