The introduction of escalation allows for you to track tasks through to completion using queues. Escalation schedules are advantageous in making sure your Service-level Agreements are met.
Escalation functionality includes the ability to:
- Assign an escalation schedule to individual tasks. With each task in a service ticket or case being unique and having various durations, assigning a task an escalation schedule is an efficient way to track all open tasks.
- Assign multiple levels of queues and times to a task's escalation schedules.
- Provide you the ability to choose the time format in which a task is to escalate.
