Akcelerant Elements
Hardware and Software Requirements

Overview

Akcelerant Elements (Elements) requirements vary depending on the volume of data, the number of users and any other applications running on the server and/or workstation. The following system requirements are intended as a guide for a smaller institution (up to 5 users). Larger institutions should adjust these requirements accordingly.

Akcelerant is not responsible for the purchase and/or cost of the required hardware and software.

This table provides hardware/software information for clients/servers running Elements. These specifications are intended solely for the usage of Elements. For use of Elements for other purposes please contact [email protected].

  1. Performance has not been tuned for minimum system configuration. Increasing RAM above the recommended system configuration increases performance specifically when running multiple applications or working with large databases.
  2. Hard drive space required for SQL Server is completely dependent on the volume of data. An empty Akcelerant Elements database requires 20 MB of space. A production database may require 75 MB to 1 GB (or even higher).
  3. The Akcelerant Elements Web, Download and Database may be installed on a single server. If all elements are combined on the same server, hardware (RAM) should be upgraded.
  4. .NET Framework is included with the Akcelerant Elements install.
  5. Microsoft SQL Server Command Line Utilities must be installed for the installed version of SQL Server. Please use the following table to assist in installing the proper components.
