Real Time

From deleted Connection topic:

The Connection page enables institutions to control real-time connections to external sources. The real-time update occurs when the workspace, queue, history, search or dialer is opened. If the information on the account is older than the specified time, the Collection Element requests an update of the account information from the core.

From System Management, select Collection > Real-time from the Connection group on the Configure tab. A list of interfaces currently configured in Elements is displayed.

Real-time settings originate through the download application and are set up during installation of Elements.

There are two sections to this page: Frequency and Import.

Frequency

The Frequency section allows administrators to specify how often the data is to be refreshed from the core. The default setting is 15 minutes, however this value is editable.

Real-time updates do not occur while working an account.

Import

The Import section contains a grid that displays the Interface and Import method. If real-time has been activated through the Download, the Enabled checkbox is selected. When real-time is enabled, any clients being reviewed have a green real-time flag displayed at the top right corner of the Workspace.

Make any changes to the Frequency or Import sections and click Save. Click  to disregard any changes and return back to System Management.

The hosted instance of Elements does not support real-time connections. Configurations made within this section do not update the Elements connection.
