If a financial institution is upgrading from version 10 to version 14 of the Framework and is not using the Loan Origination solution, the below three Akcelerant components must be uninstalled before launching the installer. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features and uninstall the programs in the following order:
To launch the installer, select Run as Administrator. The file extraction begins and a pop-up window displays the status.

Once the extraction completes, the InstallShield Wizard opens. Click Next to proceed with the Framework installation. Click Cancel to abort the installation.
Read the Akcelerant Framework License Agreement. If the terms are acceptable click I accept the terms in the license agreement. Click the Print button to print a copy of the Akcelerant Framework License Agreement.

If the terms are not acceptable, select I do not accept the terms in the license agreement or click Cancel to exit the installation. |
Click Next to proceed to the next installation step.
Enter the installation key provided by your Akcelerant Customer Care Representative.

If the installation key is unknown, it is available on the Collaboration Portal within the Installation Summary page. Refer to the Downloading the Installers section within this guide for help locating the installation key on the Collaboration Portal. |
Click Next to proceed to the next installation step.
The installer validates the installation key. Upon successful validation, a prompt requests the user to verify the installation key’s description.
If valid, click Yes to proceed to the next installation step.
Choose the Installation Directory
A default installation directory is selected by the installer, but can be changed to a custom path by clicking the Browse button.
Once the destination folder is selected, click Next to proceed to the next installation step.
